Richard L. Buck
Founder and President, Dick Buck has over thirty-five years of marketing, advertising, research and product development experience. As Manager of New Ventures for Frito-Lay, he facilitated corporate growth through the identification of new business and acquisition opportunities. Earlier, he headed a marketing firm that provided consulting services for companies such as Dow Chemical, Johnson & Johnson, Libby, Hanes and Monsanto.

As Vice President, Management Supervisor for Tracy-Locke Advertising, he directed a highly successful re-positioning campaign for Phillips Petroleum. While there, he also developed the advertising strategy that established Texas Instruments as the market leader in hand-held calculators.

With Needham, Harper & Steers Advertising in New York, Dick served as Vice President and Senior Account Director. Among his accomplishments was a program that reversed a serious sales decline for Frigidaire products. In addition, the promotional programs he developed for ARCO added many millions of dollars to the company’s bottom line.

Dick is a graduate of the University of Michigan and was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Sales Executive’s Club of New York and was voted Man of the Year by the Dallas Ad League. He is a past President of the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the American Marketing Association and served as an Adjunct Professor in The Graduate School of Management at the University of Dallas, teaching Marketing, Advertising, New Products and International Advertising.

Jane P. Stuart
Janey Stuart, co-founder, has served as Director of Research since this Company’s inception in 1986. Her comprehensive experience in research methodologies includes focus groups, mail and telephone surveys, intercept interviews, retail audits, web-base and social media techniques.

Besides contributing to research strategies and planning, she supervises all phases of research execution---questionnaire design, surveying, coding and data entry, tabulations and statistics and has been involved in more than 300 research projects for the firm.

Prior to joining Business Insights, she was Research Director for the West Agency. While there, she managed all research activities for clients ranging from packaged goods, hotels, and restaurants, to health care, banking and beauty products.

Janey holds a B.A. in Education from Southern Methodist University.

Douglas L. Bond
Doug has over 30 years of advertising, marketing research, public relations and campaign development experience. He has consulted with Business Insights for the last four years.

Starting his career with Wendy's as Regional Marketing Manager, Doug then moved to Colonial Food Stores as Director of Marketing and later was with Domino's Pizza serving as Director of International Marketing.

With Wyandot, Inc. he directed all marketing strategies/ programs, advertising and promotions, pricing, package design and development, market research and public relations for this $100 million private label snack food company.

He served as Corporate Manager, Marketing and Advertising with Speedway, the third largest convenience store chain with 1,600 stores and an annual sales of over $10 billion. While there, Bond directed and executed the company's most successful brand positioning campaign, driving 15%-30% same-store sales increases, along with achieving 70% increase in brand awareness, and an 113% increase in advertising awareness.

Prior to Business Insights, Bond served as Vice President of Marketing for Piccadilly LLC, a chain of 130 casual dining restaurants located throughout the South.

Doug holds both a BS and MS in Advertising & Marketing Management from Ohio University, Athens, OH.
